Ströms Mekaniska has been ISO certified in quality and environment since July. We have built a good structure for future improvement work.

Now all three workshops within the MF Group have the same certification, ERP system and CAD/CAM system.

In Tierp our new Mazak Integrex multi-tasking-machine is in full operation.

The first job we implemented gave big process improvements:

Done-In-One-Machining – earlier two operations in two machines. Improved quality and lead time.

• Light-out-production – improves our capacity greatly, free up time for our operators/technicians.
• Environmentally friendly – with the new process, we were able to run the job with a smaller blank, saving 15% material. Less Co2 footprint per part.

MF Group company Ströms Mekaniska in Degerfors have just installed their very same Mazak Integrex. Through these investments, MG Group has a strong capacity for turned/milled parts.

As part of our continous improvement MF Produktion AB have decided to change company for certification. We are looking forward to work with Svensk Certifiering in the coming years.

MF has invested in a new machine at MF Asia.
A robotised hole grinding machine will strengthen the grinding team.

After 15 years in the company, Jan Berlin have decided to reduce his work hours and leave the position as CEO at MF Produktion AB.

Jan Berlin will continue within the company as Key Account Manager for certain customers and member of the board.

From 2019-09-01, Daniel Årstam will be the acting CEO at MF Produktion AB. Daniel Årstam has been in the company for 21 years and has wide experiance. During this time he worked as production manager, planning, purchasing, sales as well as Site Manager in MF Asia.

MF Produktion AB will be closed for summer vacation week 29-31.

In december 2017 MF Produktion in Tierp was re-certified to the new ISO standards. Now both production units, MF Produktion AB and MF Precision Production (Shenzhen) Ltd, are certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.

During the last 3 years MF Produktion has invested 54MSEK into machines and technical equipment to the production. In 2017 23MSEK was spent on 5-axis milling machines, multipurpose lathe and measuring equipment. The vast majority of the investments has been in our Chinese factory. Together with that we have spent many hours in training of our coworkers in producing the high precision components requested by our customers.
